Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has joined Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur on loan until the end of the season, with the option to extend the deal.
The Belgian international will be hoping to rediscover his form after struggling for game time at Old Trafford in recent months.
Lukaku scored 18 goals in all competitions last season as United finished fourth in the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.
However, he has been linked with moves away from the club this summer, with reports suggesting that Manchester City were interested in signing him permanently.
In contrast, Tottenham have struggled to score goals in attack this season, with only three goals in their first eight games.
But they may be confident that Lukaku can help turn things around and help them challenge for the title.
The 26-year-old has made over 500 appearances for United across all competitions since joining from Anderlecht in 2014.
He is known for his goal-scoring ability and has won numerous awards during his time at Old Trafford, including the PFA Player of the Year award in 2017.
Despite his success at United, Lukaku has also had spells at Inter Milan and Everton, where he failed to establish himself as a regular starter.
Now he looks set to make the move to Spurs, with the club hoping that he can add another dimension to their attacking options.
